About Us
Garnet Mountain Pottery is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Scott & Megan Lane.
Scott has been a ceramic artist and educator in Montana since 2003. He specializes in functional pottery and crystal glazes.
Megan has been an educator since 2003 and a professional photographer since 2009. She also runs the logistics for Garnet Mountain Pottery.
They live in Helena, MT with their three kids, one sassy cat, and a very rambunctious yellow lab.

We offer traditional mugs with cozy handles, as well as versatile tumblers in a variety of sizes. Don’t limit yourself to mornings only, enjoy using GMP drinkware for all of your hot & cold beverages.
Glazes
All glazes at GMP are homemade, which means that no two pieces will ever be the same.
If you love one of our current glazes you might want to buy several pieces. Since every batch is slightly different and unique, that particular look may never be available again!
