Hand-thrown pottery from the heart of western Montana.

Our Name

GMP is named after our remote cabin in the Garnet Mountains.

While most of our pieces are made with clay from Archie Bray, we also have a special, limited line of pieces made with indigenous clay from our property.

These pieces always sell out quickly! If you’d like to be first in line to hear when a new batch is available, please email us to get on the waiting list.

The GMP Logo

Our logo features a hand-drawn sketch of the cabin Scott has been building on our property since 2016.

Just like all of our pottery pieces, this has been a true labor of love. Every single tree in the cabin comes from our property. Scott logged them himself, dragged them to the build site with his four-wheeler, peeled every log, and then custom cut and placed each one.

The (actual) blood and sweat that he’s put into this building really cannot be overstated.

It’s a work of art that we get to enjoy as a family and it’s one of our favorite places on earth!

We started camping there in 2014 with our daughter, who was five years old at the time.

The next spring our twins were born and we rocked a pack-n-play all summer.

Yep, three months with 3-month old twins in a wall tent! We spent the summer boiling water for bottles, changing diapers on a cot, and swathing the pack-n-play with mosquito netting. It was **quite** the adventure!🙂

Scott broke ground for the cabin in 2016.

He’s been building ever since!

Our cabin progress circa 2022.

And that’s our story!

Our future dreams involve off-the-grid pottery retreats at the cabin.

Sounds ahhhhmazing, right?!

Stay tuned:)
